Union Church

Union Church is a nearly 100-year-old congregation in the downtown Los Angeles neighborhood of Little Tokyo. This small Japanese-American congregation has recently partnered with Bel Air Presbyterian Church to try to reach out to the diverse and growing population of downtown LA through a new worship service called The Bridge. The Bridge meets every week at 11am at Union Church and consists of various ages, ethnicities, life-circumstances and faith backgrounds. The goal is to preach the good news of the gospel to downtown residents in a way that transforms Christians and non-Christians as they realize that Christ alone offers hope and forgiveness in a broken but beautiful world. Opportunities for fellowship and service to the community are regular habits of this faith community and Union Church has consistently been a good neighbor for decades serving the homeless and needy. God has something special in store for this community of Jesus followers as they enter a new chapter of its life. We hope you’ll join us!
